Dan Lipman
Dan Lipman has represented Fortune 500 companies, but his true passion is helping injured people and their families rebuild their lives. He brings deep experience handling complex personal injury matters, including sex assault, medical malpractice, and wrongful death cases. Dan’s thoughtful approach and relentless focus on results have led to millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts for individuals and families across Colorado.
Best Lawyers in America named him the 2026 “Lawyer of the Year” for Plaintiffs’ Personal Injury Law in Denver—his fourth “Lawyer of the Year” distinction in both Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice Law. He was selected by Law Week as the 2021 Best Medical Malpractice Lawyer, Barrister’s Choice, and he is consistently named in Super Lawyers’ “Top 100” in Colorado and 5280 Magazine’s “Top Lawyers.” Martindale-Hubbell has awarded Dan its AV-Preeminent rating, the highest mark for professional ability and ethical standards.
Dan is also dedicated to mentoring other attorneys and strengthening the practice of law. He teaches with the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA) and has often been a speaker at the University of Colorado Law School, the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, and national legal seminars. His peers elected him to the Board of Governors of the American Association of Justice (AAJ) in recognition of his leadership and service to the profession.
Away from work, Dan is an avid skier and fisherman. He’s a lifelong fan of the Colorado Buffaloes and the Boston Celtics, and cherishes time with his wife, their 14-year-old daughter, and their Great Pyrenees dog.
